Polysomnographic Tech

License: Current and unrestricted certification in Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must-Have:
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations
- One year of experience in sleep study activity

Description:
Prepares adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and equipment for sleep disorder testing.

Monitors the polysomnogram and documents as per policy.

Must possess good written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations is required.

Must have one year of experience in sleep study activity.

Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support Certification is required.

Must possess current and unrestricted certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.

MUST work 2 major holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.

MUST work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
