Compensation: $60,000 annual base salary plus 2.5% of service department gross profit.

INFINITI of Novi is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can develop employees, improve shop performance, grow profitability, and deliver the customer experience expected from a luxury dealership.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily service operations, including scheduling, workflow, and repair completion.
  
  
• Lead, coach, and hold service advisors and technicians accountable for performance.
  
  
• Grow service gross profit through effective operations, customer retention, and appropriate maintenance recommendations.
  
  
• Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, repair quality, and department expenses.
  
  
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction and resolve concerns professionally.
  
  
• Oversee repair orders, warranty processes, and timely claim submission.
  
  
• Coordinate with the parts department to minimize delays.
  
  
• Recruit, train, and develop service department employees.
  
  
• Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies.
  
  
• Track department results and report performance to dealership leadership.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven service management experience at a franchised automotive dealership required.
  
  
• INFINITI, Nissan, or other luxury dealership experience preferred.
  
  
• Strong understanding of service financial statements, gross profit, and expense control.
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead advisors and technicians and improve department performance.
  
  
• Knowledge of warranty administration and manufacturer service standards.
  
  
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer resolution skills.
  
  
• Tekion DMS experience preferred.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet dealership driving requirements.
  
  

Pay Structure

• Base salary: $60,000 annually.
  
  
• Additional compensation: 2.5% of service department gross profit, calculated under the dealership’s written pay plan.
