Employment Status Per Diem Overview Shifts Available: Variable Employment Type: Per Diem (PD/PRN) Hours: Variable Location: Saint John Hospital – Leavenworth, KS We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist II, internally referred to as our Rad Tech II. Rad Tech II’s will focus will be on conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures, which involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. You may also work in the CT area, assisting when needed. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed. Responsibilities You must have some experience in CT and Mammography to move forward in this position. Operate advanced mammography and X-ray equipment to ensure precise imaging and optimal diagnostic outcomes Responsible for ensuring that CT and Mammo equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images, be able to perform C-Arm for fluoroscopic imaging and understand the fluoroscopy imaging techniques Qualifications Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required Current BCLS (AHA) Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferrred Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program required, JRCERT accreditation preferred Proficient computer skills Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Competitive compensation Medical insurance benefit plan 401K Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: Employment Status Per Diem Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
