We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a 13-week contract in Bozeman, Montana. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, provide patient and family education, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and the ability to provide safe nursing care in a busy and potentially high-stress environment.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, analyze clinical findings, and identify appropriate nursing diagnoses and care priorities.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care based on patient condition and expected outcomes.

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing interventions while recognizing changes in patient condition and responding appropriately.

• Educate patients and families and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while following professional nursing standards, safety practices, confidentiality requirements, and established clinical protocols.

• Minimum 1 Year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care Registered Nurse Experience Required.

• Current, Active Montana Registered Nurse License Required.

• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Required.

• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider Certification and STABLE Certification Required.

• Candidate Must Reside at Least 90 Miles From the Assignment Location and Be Available for Variable Shifts, Possible Weekends, and Required Holiday Coverage.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced RN with neonatal or other applicable acute-care nursing experience who is comfortable working variable shifts in a collaborative NICU environment.
