The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Quality Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
• Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing training and performance feedback.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data and identify root causes of defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and reduce scrap.
• Manage customer complaints and non-conformance issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQM/OE, CSSBB, CQA).
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and other quality improvement methodologies.
