Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing dealership team. In this customer-focused sales role, you'll help guests find the right new or pre-owned vehicle by building relationships, understanding their needs, presenting vehicle options, and delivering an exceptional buying experience. Whether you've worked in automotive sales, car sales, retail sales, hospitality, customer service, wireless sales, furniture sales, real estate, or another commission-based sales environment, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career.

Compensation

• Base Pay + Uncapped Commission
• Monthly Volume Bonus Opportunities
• Unlimited Earning Potential
• TOP producers earn up to $100,000 + per year, First Year Average is $50,000-$75,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through the vehicle purchasing process
• Build relationships through exceptional customer service
• Identify customer needs and recommend the right new or pre-owned vehicle
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives
• Explain vehicle features, financing options, warranties, and ownership benefits
• Negotiate and complete vehicle sales professionally
• Maintain customer relationships through follow-up and repeat business
• Utilize dealership CRM tools to manage customer communications and sales opportunities
• Stay current on vehicle inventory, product knowledge, and automotive technology
• Collaborate with sales managers, finance, and service teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience

Requirements

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience in commissioned sales, retail sales, hospitality, customer service, wireless sales, furniture sales, banking, or outside sales are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in automotive sales is preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive to succeed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
