Overview
The Junior Coach is a current or former EGA Team athlete who assists coaches and staff in providing a safe, fun, and supportive environment for all participants. This role develops leadership, responsibility, and coaching skills while serving as a positive role model for younger athletes.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Supervise participants during Open Gyms.
- Supervise Parent Night Out events.
- Assist with the supervision of Birthday Parties under the direction of senior staff. (Junior Coaches are not eligible to host birthday parties.)
Assist senior staff in working with Special Needs students.
- Serve as a Camp Assistant during summer and holiday camps.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and encouraging environment while following all EGA policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Personal experience with gymnastics
- Current or former EGA team athlete
- Positive attitude
