School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Marblehead, Massachusetts

Step into a dynamic contract role serving students across multiple school sites as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You’ll make a direct impact by supporting students’ growth and development in an educational setting. This full-time opportunity is perfect for a compassionate professional ready to bring their expertise to collaborative school environments. Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, you’ll work with students and staff to address learning challenges, ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive. Qualifications & Preferred Experience: Valid COTA certification and state licensure Relevant experience in a school-based or pediatric setting Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to working at multiple school locations Passion for fostering student independence and participation Organizational skills and flexibility to manage a varied caseload Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing individualized education and therapy plans Provide direct therapy interventions to students in small groups or one-on-one sessions Support teachers and staff by recommending adaptive techniques and strategies Document student progress and maintain accurate records per school and regulatory requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans Travel between multiple school sites as scheduled Experience the reward of working in a supportive school setting, where your efforts help students reach their fullest potential every day. The flexible 8 am - 2:30 pm schedule offers a positive work-life balance. Compensation for this position ranges from $24.29 to $44.29.
