About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: License is pending acceptance Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required; IV start and Telemetry required Must-Have: - Experience floating to medical units, renal, oncology, and neuro - Capability to provide care for adult and geriatric patients - Experience with telemetry monitoring and central line management Description: The RN will float between various medical units, including surgical, oncology, neuro, and cardiology. The nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Skills such as IV management, telemetry monitoring, and wound care are essential. Patient ratios are 1:5-6 during days and weekends, and 1:6 during nights. The RN will be expected to participate in weekend shifts every other weekend or a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week schedule. There is also a holiday rotation obligation. This role involves using lift devices and managing patient mobility. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. All nurses must complete required training modules to ensure compliance and maintain up-to-date skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and effective communication with both patients and team members.
