$150,000 - $170,000 BASE + BONUS

The Opportunity We're partnering with a rapidly growing financial services organization that is modernizing and expanding its enterprise data platform. They're looking for a Data Engineer who enjoys building scalable data solutions, improving data quality, and creating the infrastructure that powers analytics and business decision-making across the company. The Team's Focus

• Building and scaling modern data platforms

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines that collect and process information from multiple sources
• Design data models that enable reporting, analytics, and operational insights
• Enhance a cloud-based data platform to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
• Build solutions using Python, SQL, and dbt
• Support and optimize Azure-based data infrastructure
• Lead data engineering initiatives from design through deployment
• Implement processes for data quality, monitoring, and operational excellence
  • Identify and drive improvements across existing data systems
  • Partner with analytics teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
  • Help define platform architecture and long-term data strategy
  
  What We're Looking For
  • 3-8 years of Data Engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Python and SQL
  • Experience building and supporting ETL/data pipeline solutions
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and modern data transformation practices
  • Experience working with Azure or other cloud-based data environments
  • Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and platform architecture
  • Experience supporting production data environments and troubleshooting issues
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field preferred
