Managing Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking a Managing Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team in our Mechanical Department. We offer full service in-house architecture/engineering design capabilities and typically work on a diverse array of projects including Higher Education, Municipal Facilities, Industrial, Design-build, Aviation and Healthcare. Responsibilities include working on all phases of projects such as client relationships, design, specifications, project team coordination, construction documents, code analysis and consultant interaction. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 10+ years of related mechanical/HVAC design and project management experience. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Professional licensure PE is preferred Comprehensive understanding of design and construction documents. Proficiency in CADD & REVIT. Knowledge of building codes. Ability to succeed in small and large multi-disciplinary team environments. Ability to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress. Good graphic, communications (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Self-motivated with ability to lead small and large project teams and multiple projects from concept to construction.
