MTK Healthcare is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN Consultant) for a 13-week contract (with potential for permanent placement) with Mosaic in Newark, Delaware.

Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract) | Potential Full-Time Opportunity
Shift: Monday - Friday (Day Shift | No On-Call)
EMR System: Therap / HCHB

Pay Rate (Contract): $40.00 - $45.50 per hour

Full-Time Salary (if converted): $79,000 - $85,000 annually

Role Overview
The RN Consultant provides essential nursing support and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD). This role focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles, ensuring access to quality healthcare, and supporting individuals and their care teams through education, consultation, and ongoing health monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor health status
Maintain and review healthcare records and documentation
Provide consultation and support in accordance with Nurse Practice Act
Educate caregivers and individuals on health-related topics
Ensure quality control in medication administration and reporting
Advocate for routine and preventative healthcare services
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare providers
Support and train staff on delegated nursing tasks

Requirements

Active Delaware RN License (Required)
Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of general nursing experience (IDD experience preferred)
CPR & First Aid Certification
Valid Driver's License
Developmental Disabilities Nursing Association Accreditation (Preferred)
