Spanish Teacher

Tatnall is seeking a dynamic and passionate Upper School Spanish teacher who can teach Spanish from the beginner to advanced levels and possibly expand the role by teaching other subject areas. The ideal candidate brings deep content knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine passion for teaching and connecting with students. They will foster a welcoming, inclusive, and intellectually engaging student‑centered classroom. Key Responsibilities: Teach 4 sections of Spanish Ability to teach other languages, subject areas, or perform additional duties to fulfill FT status A Tatnall Teacher: Demonstrates a student‑centered approach to education Designs and implements engaging lessons that develop critical thinking and real‑world connections Builds strong relationships with students and creates a supportive and positive classroom environment Provides clear, timely feedback to support student growth Shares a commitment for diversity, equity, and community through culturally responsive and identity‑affirming practices Works closely and collegially with students, faculty, administrators, and parents in a lively independent school setting.
