Join Our Team! New Beginning Counseling & Therapy Services, LLC is a DBHDS-licensed behavioral health provider committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based substance use treatment services. We are seeking a motivatedCertified Substance Abuse Counselor-Supervisee (CSAC-Supervisee)to join our growing clinical team and help clients achieve lasting recovery. This is an excellent opportunity to receive clinical supervision while gaining experience in a professional, team-oriented environment providing Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services. Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group substance use counseling under approved clinical supervision.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and evidence-based recovery groups.
• Assist in completing client screenings, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Develop and review relapse prevention and recovery plans.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record (KIPU).
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Educate clients and families on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention.
• Coordinate referrals and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and agency policies.
• Attend required supervision sessions and staff meetings.

Qualifications Required:

• Active VirginiaCSAC- Superviseeregistration with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Commitment to ethical, person-centered, and recovery-oriented care.

Preferred:

• Experience working with individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Knowledge of ASAM Criteria and person-centered treatment planning.
• Experience in PHP, IOP, outpatient, or residential behavioral health settings.
