Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based ultrasound department, performing a broad range of general and specialized studies using GE equipment.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound department
• General cases include abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, abdominal vasculature, lower extremity DVT, and follicular studies
• NICU and OR experience is a plus
• Equipment includes GE Logiq E9, GE Logiq E10, and GE Voluson systems
• Epic used for charting
• Rotating schedule: Week 1 — Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM; Week 2 — Wednesday 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, Thursday 9:30 AM–8:00 PM, Friday 9:30 AM–9:00 PM, Saturday 10:30 AM–11:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Active MA license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• 2 professional references required
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Perform general ultrasound studies including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular, DVT, and follicular imaging
• Time is tracked via UKG/Kronos
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public parking rates range from $17–$22 daily; public transportation is recommended
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
• Any requested time off must be disclosed at the time of consideration
