The Department provides educational research courses for eight graduate programs in the Kremen School. Department faculty are active in teaching, scholarship, service, and grant leadership. Required Qualifications: Education (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.): A Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction or closely related field Experience:
- Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- CI and ERE courses: 100-level courses require that the instructor hold at least a master's degree, and 200-level courses require that the instructor have a doctorate. Credential courses require that instructors have earned a teaching credential and have relevant TK-12 classroom teaching experience. Instructors of courses oered online are required to be online-certified and/or take QLT training before serving as an online instructor. QLT link:
- A commitment to teaching excellence in higher education, which may be exhibited through prior teaching experiences and teaching evaluations or other evidence.
- Successful teaching experience in a higher education setting.
- Recent experience with teaching at the PreK-12 level.
