Job Details: Job Location: 800 East Walnut Street - North Wales, PA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Gwynedd Manufacturing is a rapidly growing defense contractor and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, federal law enforcement, and commercial customers. Role Overview The Inventory Clerk supports manufacturing operations by maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with manufacturing time studies. This role helps ensure material availability for production while collecting and documenting labor and process timing data to support efficiency, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in both inventory control and production process analysis. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control Receive, inspect, and verify raw materials, components, and supplies against purchase orders Record inventory transactions in the ERP or inventory management system Issue materials to production based on work orders and bills of materials Maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Organize, label, and store materials in designated locations Qualifications: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or associate degree preferred Previous experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or production support preferred Effective written and verbal communication skills Detail Oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment Physical and Work Environment Requirements: This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may require the following over extended periods of time up to a full 8-hour work shift (excluding lunch and breaks): stand, walk, sit, squat or bend, kneel and rise, lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to — and occasionally exceeding — 50 pounds, view a computer or other digital screen, work on a computer, workstation or comparable system, and make accurate entries in such systems. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills are required for detailed assembly and precision work. Work may take place in areas with varying temperatures or no climate control, varying noise levels, and production equipment in motion. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas at all times as required by company policy.
