Certified Welding Inspector

To support construction quality assurance, the full-time Certified Welding Inspector will perform inspections, testing, and documentation of construction projects remotely, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. Key responsibilities Conduct testing, observation, and inspection to verify adherence to contract specifications Prepare detailed inspection reports and document any nonconformance Communicate findings to project managers and collaborate on solutions for identified issues Required qualifications American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II certification in Visual Testing (VT) and one additional NDT method High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering Technology preferred 2-4 years of experience in construction inspection Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history may be required
