Summary: The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation systems.*

Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.*

Diagnoses and troubleshoots HVAC system issues and provides effective solutions.*

Ensures compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.*

Maintains accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.*

Provides excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining technical information clearly.*

Collaborates with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.*

Keeps up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in HVAC systems.*

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, technical manuals, and correspondence. Ability to write detailed reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and equivalent combination of education and experience. HVAC certification preferred.

Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license. HVAC certification.

Equipment: HVAC tools and equipment, including gauges, meters, and hand tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills

Ability to manage time effectively
