Contract IT Field Technician Needed (Northern New Jersey)
InfoDefense PLUS is seeking a reliable Contract IT Field Technician to assist with an upcoming Computer Asset Triage & Sanitization Project .
Project Duration: Approximately 3–5 days, with the potential for future project-based opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Computer inventory and asset documentation
- Hardware inspection and evaluation
- Manufacturer recovery and Windows installation
- Secure SSD/NVMe sanitization
- Equipment labeling and staging
- Following documented operating procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware and Windows installation
- Comfortable working with BIOS/UEFI and bootable USB media
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures
This position is ideal for a Junior to Mid-Level IT Technician , recent IT graduate, or motivated IT professional looking to gain hands-on field experience while working alongside experienced cybersecurity and managed IT professionals.
