Appliance Delivery Driver

Job Description

The Appliance Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting a variety of small and large appliances to customers, ensuring timely delivery and excellent service. Working primarily as an individual driver or within a small team, this role requires strong vehicle operation skills, customer interaction, and adherence to safety protocols. Delivery routes are managed using third-party navigation apps and manual routing techniques, with occasional overtime to meet demand.

Responsibilities

Operate delivery vehicle safely and efficiently
Interact professionally with customers during delivery
Load and unload appliances carefully to prevent damage
Follow all safety and compliance guidelines
Complete delivery documentation accurately
Handle delivery equipment responsibly
Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
Communicate clearly with team members and dispatch
Resolve delivery issues and customer concerns promptly

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in delivery driving
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

Proven safe driving record
Familiarity with navigation systems and third-party apps
Strong customer service skills
Effective time management abilities
Excellent communication skills
Physical stamina for loading and unloading appliances
Problem-solving aptitude
Attention to detail
