Senior Superintendent - Retail Big Box Store Construction Location Tampa, FL No Remote Type Direct Hire Superintendent – Ground-Up Retail Big Box Store and Remodel Construction Location: Florida (Relocation Available Nationwide) Industry: Commercial Construction – Retail / Grocery / Big Box Full-Time | Travel Required | Competitive Pay + Full Benefits Benefits Legacy of Excellence: Operating since 1989 with a 90% repeat client rate Growth-Focused Culture: Strong investment in employee development and advancement 100% employer-paid medical for employees 401(k) with company match Bonus Program Vehicle allowance + iPad Paid vacation, sick leave, and per diem/accommodations as needed Relocation Assistance: Move to Florida with full support Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day on-site construction operations Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades Manage schedules, inspections, materials, and logistics Maintain safe, clean, and well-organized job sites Conduct and document progress meetings Collaborate with the Project Manager on budgets, cost controls, and contracts Ensure compliance with safety standards, SWPPP, and company protocols Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Strong knowledge of Retail Big Box Construction – ground up experience and/or remodel experience (preferably adding additions) Walmart and Sam’s project experience is a major plus; other big box retail experience also considered Comfortable with scheduling, quality control, subcontractor management OSHA 30 Certification (or willing to obtain upon hire) SWPPP Certification (preferred) Proficient in MS Office; WRIKE and FieldWire familiarity a bonus Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr H.
