Associate Director, Clinical Data Management

This leadership position oversees clinical data management for complex development projects at Bristol Myers Squibb. The role involves managing data collection, quality standards, and vendor oversight across trials while serving as a key contact for cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include authoring study plans, chairing data quality reviews, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical data management for complex clinical development projects; coordinate data collection requirements
- Plan, deliver, and oversee complete, high-quality clinical trial data in timely manner for assigned programs
- Serve as primary contact for internal and external study team members on data management matters
- Oversee third-party vendors; enforce data standards and quality expectations across EDC and data collection systems
- Chair data quality review meetings and represent data management on cross-functional project and submission teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, data science, or statistics; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years biopharma or CRO experience with 3+ years in study or program leadership
- Strong EDC systems knowledge, particularly Medidata RAVE
- Expertise in FDA/ICH guidelines and clinical drug development processes
- Project management skills with metrics analysis and reporting proficiency
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Knowledge of submission requirements including NDA, BLA, and MAA
Compensation: $170,800-$206,968 base
