Distribution Center Manager Arlington,TX, US Experience: Manager Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Center Manager to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all distribution center activities, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is essential in driving operational excellence and meeting our business objectives. As a Distribution Center Manager, you will be expected to lead with a hands-on approach and a keen focus on all aspects of the distribution center, including inventory management, logistics, and team leadership. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities Lead and manage all operational activities of the distribution center, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and on time. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure inventory control procedures are followed. Utilize NetSuite ERP system to manage inventory, track shipments, and generate reports. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, and shipping. Foster a positive culture within the distribution center, promoting accountability, open communication, and continuous improvement. Monitor and manage performance metrics and take corrective actions when necessary. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding warehousing, distribution, and employee safety. Handle consumer goods with care and maintain high quality standards. Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching and feedback, and set performance goals for team members. Manage relationships with external logistics providers and vendors. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution center management, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Proven experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system. Strong problem‑solving skills with a strategic approach to challenges. Excellent knowledge of inventory management and distribution processes. Proven ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a positive and accountable culture. Experience in managing consumer goods. Bilingual, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changes. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding warehousing and distribution.
