Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Technician with strong sterile and non-sterile compounding skills to support our growing home infusion pharmacy. This position assists the pharmacist with preparation, compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medications and supplies while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and safety standards. About the Role This position assists the pharmacist with preparation, compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medications and supplies while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and compound high-risk IV sterile and non-sterile medications under pharmacist supervision Perform accurate pharmaceutical calculations and obtain pharmacist verification prior to compounding Assemble, stage, and organize production orders for timely fulfillment Prepare labels, compounding worksheets, batch records, lot numbers, and expiration dates Pick, pull, and package medications, supplies, and home medical equipment Maintain cleanroom and compounding areas per USP, OSHA, FDA, and company standards Perform required quality control tests and report any abnormal results immediatelyAssist with inventory management and supply tracking Provide excellent customer service and professional phone support Assist with training of new technicians as needed Participate in department meetings, quality improvement activities, and special projects Assist with shipping and other duties as assigned Qualifications Sterile IV Certification Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience (infusion or compounding preferred) Strong sterile compounding technique and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office High school diploma or equivalent Required Skills Strong sterile compounding technique and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Preferred Skills Home infusion or high-risk IV compounding experience Spanish-speaking (preferred, not required) This Job Is a Great Fit If You Are: Dependable and reliable Detail-oriented and safety-focused Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities A team player willing to assist wherever needed (including shipping) #J-18808-Ljbffr Pyramids Pharmacy
