VP of Operations

About the opportunity:

As the Vice President of Operations , you will provide organization-wide leadership and oversee ITF-USA's day-to-day operations, staff management, and internal systems. Working closely with the President and department Directors, you will strengthen organizational processes, coordinate cross-department priorities, support staff performance, and ensure ITF-USA has the systems and resources needed to advance its mission. This role provides valuable senior-level experience in nonprofit operations, organizational management, human resources, strategic planning, and team leadership. Please note that this is a remote volunteer position.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee ITF-USA's day-to-day operations and ensure departmental activities align with organizational priorities.
• Supervise and support department Directors through regular check-ins, guidance, and performance management.
• Coordinate cross-department priorities and strengthen communication between teams.
• Oversee organizational task and project management systems and monitor progress toward key priorities.
• Lead the development and improvement of organizational policies, procedures, and internal systems.
• Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and volunteer management processes.
• Monitor staffing needs, volunteer engagement, and organizational capacity.
• Oversee organization-wide KPI reporting and coordinate quarterly staff performance reviews.
• Coordinate monthly team meetings and follow up on organization-wide action items.
• Support annual planning, organizational reporting, and priority setting in collaboration with the President.
• Provide leadership oversight of administrative, financial, HR, and technology operations.
• Maintain key operational documentation and promote organizational continuity and knowledge management.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public administration, international development, or a related field.
• Experience in nonprofit operations, administration, project management, or organizational management.
• Experience developing or improving organizational policies, procedures, and operational systems.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Minimum availability of 15 hours per week for at least six months .
