Start Date 2026-2027 School Year Job Qualifications A master's degree with verification of completion of an approved program of graduate study in school guidance and counseling;and an Idaho State Pupil Personnel Certificate endorsed as a school counselor. Duties and Responsibilities The School Counselor position is a professional position with the principal function to provide a comprehensive counseling program that will assist students, parents and staff in academic, personal, social and career planning. The incumbent is responsible to utilize leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, school counselors promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by developing, managing, delivering and assessing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students; performs related work as required.
