Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 7:00am-7:00pm and rotating Saturdays Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation Must be at least 21 years old Float Incentive Additional $2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, or temporary employees are eligible only to participate in the 401(k) plan.
