As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll help lead a compassionate retail team within a hospital gift shop environment, ensuring every guest experience reflects our core values of integrity, empathy, and excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service with warmth and attentiveness.Maintain merchandising standards and support sales growth.Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.Follow visual merchandising and promotional guidelines.Uphold operational procedures and company policies.Accurately process transactions using POS systems; may handle bank deposits.Assist in scheduling, training, and coaching team members.Independently open and close the store.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum one year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Our CultureLori's Gifts has served hospitals nationwide for more decades.
