Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, focusing on strengths and tailor treatment accordingly. \n
- Provide individualized and family therapy sessions, addressing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Adapt therapy approaches based on patient feedback and treatment outcomes. \n
- Manage administrative tasks, including billing, documentation, and the completion of individualized treatment plans within specified timeframes, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively. \n
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness initiatives to support patients in maintaining stable mental health. \n
- Create personalized discharge plans that delineate post-treatment goals and resources for ongoing support, ensuring patients receive the necessary follow-up care. \n
- Adhere diligently to all state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance with psychological practice standards and NEHS policies. \n
- Engage in regular case consultation meetings with colleagues to enhance treatment strategies and share best practices. \n
- Stay current with professional licensure and training requirements through continuous education—ensure compliance with mandated professional development activities. \n
As a member of Genworth Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse array of patients from various backgrounds, including individuals from underrepresented communities and those facing social and economic challenges. Your role will be crucial in reducing barriers and providing equitable access to mental health services, ensuring that each patient's unique needs and circumstances are acknowledged and addressed.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that prepares for licensure. \n
- Active licensure as a mental health therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of California. \n

- Experience in community mental health settings, particularly working with diverse populations. \n
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for clinical documentation. \n
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and methodologies. \n
The compensation for this position ranges between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure.
