We offer the culture of a family-owned company in a professional environment.We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor for our operations in Maplevale, PA. In this role you will lead the production floor every day, making sure our safety, quality, cost and delivery goals are met. Set daily production priorities based on customer demand, schedule, staffing, and available resources, and communicate them clearly through daily production meetings.Own the metrics. Monitor performance and make sure department goals for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost are met.Put the right people in the right places. Assign employees by workload, skill level, and qualifications, and make good use of labor, equipment, materials, tooling, and floor space.Build and develop the team. Track attendance, performance, and training. Coach, give feedback, and support cross-training.Solve problems with partners. Work with Quality on defects, rework, scrap, and NCRs, and with Maintenance on equipment issues and preventive maintenance.Drive continuous improvement. Promote Lean, cut waste, improve flow, and make sure corrective actions are put in place and sustained.Keep standards high. Make sure work instructions, safety procedures, and production, labor, and downtime reporting are followed and accurate. Keep the work area clean and organized.Support growth.
