Litigation Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Massachusetts-licensed Litigation Attorney with a background in residential foreclosure and creditors' rights. The ideal candidate will manage foreclosure litigation from case review through court appearances while providing strategic legal guidance to clients. Key Responsibilities Handle residential foreclosure litigation and related real estate matters Review title issues and recommend solutions to ensure a marketable title Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and court proceedings Manage discovery, review documents, and develop litigation strategies Communicate with clients regarding case status, legal risks, and recommendations Maintain case files and collaborate with paralegals Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting billable hour requirements Review and approve billing entries for assigned matters Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active Massachusetts Bar license in good standing Admission in Rhode Island and/or New Hampshire is a plus .3–5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in foreclosure, real estate, or creditors' rights Experience with FDCPA, RESPA, and TILA matters is preferred Strong courtroom, legal writing, and case management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a team environment Compensation Details 110k+; annually The compensation amount is not guaranteed. Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position, however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications Benefits Details Brock & Scott, PLLC offers an attractive benefit package to full-time employees on the 1st of the following month of hire. PTO accrues monthly and is credited on the 15th of each month, in accordance with firm policy. PTO benefits increase after 2 years of employment and again after 5 years of employment.
