We are hiring for multiple openings of positions Associate Sterile Processing Technician in the Sterile Process Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Currently available schedules:

Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, (primary shift will likely be evening shift, Mon-Fri 2:00PM-10:30PM), 40hours per week.

Sterile Processing Technicians collect, clean, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable medical devices according to established standards. They assure that instruments and equipment are safe and ready for patient use when needed. Meticulous attention to detail is an essential function of this position.

Required qualifications:

• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or
• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in sterile processing or Operating Room.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
