Beckman Coulter Life Sciences seeks a Field Applications Manager to lead a team of field application scientists supporting flow cytometry customers across the upper Midwest and Northeast regions. This remote position combines technical leadership with sales support, requiring expertise in flow cytometry and life science management.

Responsibilities

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Field Applications Scientists
Oversee pre- and post-sales technical support including demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting
Support sales growth strategy through applications collaboration and value-added service positioning
Establish best practices, workflows, and performance metrics for the applications team
Represent the company at conferences and workshops as a scientific leader

Requirements

BSc, MSc, or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related life science discipline
Minimum 5+ years of flow cytometry experience
Applications, technical support, or field-based scientific role experience
Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Ability to travel up to 85% overnight
Life science leadership or management experience preferred
Field Applications Management or clinical flow cytometry experience a plus

Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 base, plus bonus/incentive pay eligibility
