Job Summary Corewell Health is offering up to $1500 as a sign‑on bonus for qualifying new hires. The Mother Baby Care Unit is a 28‑bed unit that cares for postpartum patients and newborns. The role includes a rotation within the maternal child health units with training. Scope of Work Provide care to patients according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services, and document services appropriately. Act as an Observer for patients requiring constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring, to maximize safety. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit. Document care provided in the electronic medical record. Schedule & Shift Details The position requires full‑time work. Shift: Night (United States of America) – 7p.m. to 7:30a.m., Monday to Sunday. Every third weekend is a weekend shift. The schedule during the first week is Monday‑Friday, 7a.m. to 3:30p.m. and the entire week must be attended consecutively. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
