Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer- HVAC Data Center Cooling Job ID: 1584439BR Position Type: Full-time with HCLTech Location: Charlotte, NC Role/Responsibilities Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to evaluate system performance under various operating conditions and environments Collaborate with internal stakeholders, i.e., product management, engineering, and manufacturing, to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions Support design and development of chiller systems, i.e., component selection, system integration, and performance optimization Support product testing and validation activities, analyze test results and implement design improvements Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in thermal systems engineering Responsible for the design of components, assemblies and packing, and utilizes data management systems to track and report progress of assignments. Compensation and Benefits A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
