Role Description The Customer Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Charleston, SC, working within major retail locations to represent a leading telecom provider. This role involves engaging with customers on the sales floor, understanding their needs, presenting product benefits, and guiding them through service options and purchase decisions. The specialist will be responsible for meeting sales targets, handling questions and concerns, and ensuring a positive, solutions-focused customer experience. Day-to-day activities include maintaining product knowledge, participating in ongoing training, supporting promotional campaigns, and collaborating with teammates and leadership to execute sales strategies. The role also includes accurate documentation of sales activities and adherence to company policies and performance standards. Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to build rapport, listen actively, and explain telecom products clearly. Proven Sales abilities, with experience in consultative selling, closing deals, and working toward individual or team targets. Solid Analytical Skills to understand customer needs, interpret basic performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement. Experience in Training or willingness to learn and share knowledge, including participating in coaching sessions and product training. High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability in an on-site retail environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, stand for extended periods, and adapt to changing customer traffic and priorities. Collaborative mindset and comfort working within a team-focused culture that values mentorship and development.
