About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Required certification to work as an RN in the state Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - ACLS - BLS - NRP - Labor and Delivery experience - Fetal monitoring experience Description: Candidates are needed to perform in Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum units. This facility is a critical access hospital. The patient population includes maternity women and newborns. The unit has 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds. Patient ratios are 1:2. The electronic health record system in use is Meditech. The supervisor is the Unit Manager. Common diagnoses and treatments involve labor. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, be cooperative, and show initiative. Preferred skills include PALS and experience with EHR systems. Couplet care is a part of the care model. Candidates must meet all required certifications prior to starting.
