About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required Experience with a patient ratio of 1:6 required Charting system experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS ACLS CPI preferred Must-Have: Must have 1:6 ratio experience Must be agreeable to floating to other facilities Ratings of 3-4 in all required skills Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele Float. The role requires experience in caring for patients with various conditions, including infectious diseases, hospice/palliative care, oncology, and cardiac care. Candidates will support a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics, in a dynamic clinical environment. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications, managing IVs, and providing telemetry monitoring. Skills such as phlebotomy, wound care, and the interpretation of dysrhythmias are essential. Candidates should be able to float to various departments and have experience with Epic charting. A strong understanding of patient management protocols and teamwork in an interdisciplinary setup is required. Weekend shifts will be included in the contract, requiring coverage every other weekend. This position requires the ability to handle the physical demands of the role and maintain high standards of patient care. Candidates must have existing certifications and experience that meet the job requirements outlined. Travel experience is necessary for this position.
