Experienced Calibration Technician -Scottsdale Flexible-Variable Hours

National Calibration Inc. was established in 1955 and is a growing full-service ISO 17025 Accredited Calibration Laboratory with multiple offices located throughout the Southwestern United States. Our accredited laboratory provides calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment to include: Electronics, Force, Linear, Torque, Pressure, and Weight. We are a family-owned business based in Scottsdale, AZ. We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician for a flexible, variable hour role (0-24 hours per week). You will test, calibrate, and repair precision measurement equipment. The position offers a dynamic schedule based on project demands and client needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Calibrate electrical, mechanical, and dimensional instruments Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning measurement equipment Document data and issue official calibration certificates Ensure strict compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards Weekly shifts requested 2 weeks in advance PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/ SKILLS: Experience: Minimum 3+ years in industrial calibration Knowledge: Strong understanding of PMEL or TMDE Standard: Deep familiarity with ISO quality systems PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Frequently lift or move heavy instruments, up to 50 pounds, short distances WHAT WE OFFER: Flexibility: Work hours that adapt to your lifestyle Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on expertise Environment: Exposure to diverse industries and technologies Must have Clean Driving Record and complete a pre-employment drug screening EOE #J-18808-Ljbffr Page Mechanical Group, Inc.
