Provides a broad range of system solutions development to business problems through the development and programming of applications / systems. May also provide research, installation, maintenance, configuration, administration and/or provisioning of systems/applications.Depth & Scope:Advanced knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issuesPerforms complex to difficult technical tasks independentlyAdvanced knowledge of technology, tools, various programming languages, processes, and proceduresDevelops program specifications; adapts, integrates, codes, tests and debugs programs; and is responsible for executingUses existing procedures to solve routine problems; makes limited exceptionsEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Technical CertificateStrong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)3-5 years relevant experienceCustomer Accountabilities:Develops new solutions as required for engineering programs and projects within assigned areaDevelops new features and performs unit / component test for new application development initiatives aligned to business needs and in accordance with technology architecture standardsSupports business enquiries and business activities through execution of small enhancements and break / fix implementations (e.g. source code changes) May also be responsible for peer code reviewWorks with technology partners to ensure the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goalsAnalyzes the technical requirements to recommend pragmatic and sound engineering specific solutions for own area, may be involved in coding/story estimatesWorks with other stakeholders, internal technology partners to ensure engineering solutions meet technical direction, requirements, performance, time-to-market and innovation goalsMonitors product lifecycles, ensuring specifications and functionality support business objectives and engineering decisions, undertaking re-development where requiredDocuments and verifies system components, applications, system infrastructure, security, integration, operability and engineering related architecture designs associated with a program or projectParticipates in quality management reviews, in particular reviews of the designs, prototypes and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfill the requirementsCreates and maintains quality code, ensures defect free programming consistent with standards; provides code maintenance and support during testing cycles and post-production deployment and participates in reviewing peer codingProvides technical expertise during Incident management, analyzes incident reports and outages, performs impact assessment for incidents and facilitates internal and external communication throughout incident resolutionParticipates in identifying and recommending development / testing solutions / tools in support of project / application objectivesAssists in the development / maintenance of comprehensive preferably TypeScript / Node.js and cloud-native patterns.Experience with cloud platforms, cloud-native application patterns, infrastructure-as-code concepts, containerized services, observability and secure deployment practices.Integration engineering skills across REST APIs, SDKs, batch and incremental ingestion patterns, event-driven processing, connector frameworks, authentication, error handling, retries, and reconciliation.Metadata, catalog, and governance platform experience with Collibra, DataHub, OpenMetadata, Synapse, or comparable tools, including metadata ingestion, discovery, lineage, ownership, stewardship, business glossary, and catalog administration concepts.Lineage, provenance, and traceability knowledge, including OpenLineage, standardized lineage events, impact analysis, evidence capture, downstream dependency mapping, and audit-ready documentation.DevOps and automation experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, automated testing, code review practices, configuration management, and environment promotion controls.Infrastructure and security awareness, including private endpoints, virtual networks, DNS, managed identities, RBAC, secure service-to-service connectivity, audit logging, and access governance.Operational readiness mindset with experience in observability, structured logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting, runbooks, health checks, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, rollback planning, and production support.AI-enabled engineering exposure such as metadata enrichment, recommendation services, semantic layers, graph-oriented models, API-enabled metadata access, or automation capabilities that improve engineering productivity and governance outcomes.Strong collaboration and communication skills with
