Senior Business Analyst, Finance & Analytics (6-Month Contract-Hybrid)

Prodigy Resources is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to partner with the CFO, Accounting team, and Analytics team, managing reporting requests, enhancements, and process improvement work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage intake, prioritization, and tracking of reporting requests, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Partner with the CFO and Accounting team to gather and document business requirements
• Maintain and prioritize the reporting and analytics backlog
• Create user stories, requirements documents, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Coordinate project activities, timelines, and communications across stakeholders and vendors
• Facilitate UAT, defect tracking, and business sign-off
• Provide regular status updates and ensure timely resolution of issues and risks
• Identify opportunities to improve finance and accounting processes

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Reporting, or Analytics teams
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
• Project coordination or project management experience
• Experience managing backlogs, tickets, and UAT activities
• Basic SQL skills for data validation and investigation
• Familiarity with Power BI and ERP systems (Business Central preferred)
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
