Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Schedule/Hours:

• Weekly Monday orientations

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an ICU setting
• Proficient in critical care protocols and procedures
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, multitasking, and communication skills
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, advocating for rapid interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Employ advanced clinical skills in ventilator management, titrating infusions, and interpreting complex diagnostic data
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
