Job Description Job Description Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Night Shift Supervisor 65-80k Salary Varies with experience Mon-Thurs 4pm-2:30am (Mandatory OT as needed) Waxahachie Facility Summary of Role: The Night Shift Supervisor oversees all aspects of production operations during the night shift, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and morale are maintained. This role is the primary decision-maker on the floor from shift start to shift end and serves as the direct link between hourly associates and plant leadership. Duties and Responsibilities: · Lead and supervise a team of hourly production associates, providing direction, coaching, and real-time support throughout the shift. · Monitor production output against targets; identify and resolve bottlenecks to meet daily schedules and throughput goals. · Ensure product quality standards are met by monitoring in-process checks and coordinating with quality personnel when defects arise. · Manage shift staffing including attendance tracking, workstation assignments, cross-training, and break coverage. · Coordinate with maintenance on equipment issues; escalate breakdowns and complete downtime documentation. · Complete detailed shift handover reports covering production totals, quality issues, safety incidents, attendance, and equipment status. · Administer progressive discipline consistently and fairly in accordance with company policy; partner with HR as needed. Requirements: · High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred · 3+ years of metal manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role · Demonstrated ability to lead teams and hold associates accountable · Working knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and GMP or quality standards · Proficient in basic computer applications (email, ERP/MES systems, MS Office) · Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required · Strong background in Quality control. 2+ years preferred. · Review and interpret blueprint drawings, work instructions, and quality documentation. · Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts related to quality issues. · Able to perform dimensional inspections on parts as well as finished goods.
