Behavioral Health Technician/Transport Driver
Amatus Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician/Transport Driver to join our team at New Hampshire Detox in Bethlehem, NH. The ideal candidate will possess experience in behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, demonstrating a passion for helping individuals on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to patients in a behavioral health setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist in the implementation of patient care plans under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
- Transport patients safely to and from appointments, ensuring timely and respectful service.
- Monitor and document patient behavior, progress, and any significant changes in their condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the treatment planning process.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities and support their overall recovery goals.
- Build rapport with patients to foster a supportive and nurturing environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in behavioral health or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or a related area is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
