Maintenance TechnicianDanHil Containers is a leading manufacturer of corrugated containers, dedicated to delivering high-quality packaging solutions with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and innovation.Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by ensuring maximum equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role is critical in minimizing downtime, improving efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with machine operators and manufacturing supervisors to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and production interruptions.Diagnose, modify, lubricate, and operate equipment while maintaining industrial control systems.Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and safe repairs.Complete and report all repairs at the end of the shift, including required documentation of parts and material usage.Follow plant safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Ensure facilities and production equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient working condition.Perform setup, startup, shutdowns, maintenance repairs, and PMs on production equipment.Utilize a wide variety of machine tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.Qualifications & Requirements2+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.High school diploma or equivalent required.Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric machine controls.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.Flexibility to work weekends and extended shifts as needed.1+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) preferred.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsFrequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling.Comfortable working in noisy environments and variable conditions.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds a minimum of 10 times per day and occasionally lift 50 pounds over shoulder height.Ability to safely climb ladders without assistance.Why Join DanHil Containers?At DanHil Containers, we value our employees and provide growth opportunities in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
