1:1 School Registered Nurse – Part Time Transportation Support (Summer Contract)

Hours: Split Shift (Monday–Friday),10 hours per week

• Morning Transport: 7:55 AM – 9:55 AM

• Afternoon Transport: 1:45 PM – 3:55 PM

Contract Length: 6 weeks

Compensation: $65/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking two qualified and reliable Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide transportation-based 1:1 medical support for students participating in summer programming. Nurses will accompany Out-of-District (OOD) students to ensure safe travel to and from their educational placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care during student transportation

• Monitor student health status and respond appropriately to any medical needs

• Ensure student safety throughout transit

• Follow individualized healthcare plans and emergency protocols for seizure disorder

• Communicate effectively with families, transportation staff, and program teams

• Maintain accurate documentation of care as required

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts required)

• Experience with pediatric, school-based, or special education populations preferred

• Ability to work independently in a 1:1 setting

• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

• Reliable and punctual with the ability to adapt to changing schedules
