Education Level2 Year Degree## Description**Position Summary:** The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at WE LEVEL UP is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The role involves delivering compassionate and efficient healthcare services, ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. **Position Responsibilities:*** Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing standards.* Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.* Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.* Provide basic patient care, including wound care, hygiene assistance, and mobility support.* Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention.* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care provided and patient responses.* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.* Participate in patient assessments and contribute to the planning of care strategies.* Assist in emergency situations, providing prompt and effective care.* Support the healthcare team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.## Qualifications**Required Education:*** Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.* Current and valid Vocational Nurse license in the state of employment.**Required Experience:*** Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.* Experience in providing direct patient care and managing patient records.* Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.**Required Skills and Abilities:*** Strong understanding of medical terminology and nursing practices.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.* Ability to perform basic nursing procedures and administer medications safely.* Proficient in assessing patient conditions and implementing appropriate care plans.* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.* High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. #J-18808-Ljbffr We Level Up
