We're seeking an energetic, positive-minded Automotive General Manager who embraces challenges with enthusiasm and prioritizes guest satisfaction above all else.ResponsibilitiesLead operations (scheduling, workflow, quality) while actively contributing to the shop's success.Personally drive sales and revenue through lead follow-up, customer conversions, upsells, and local partnerships.Deliver measurable results tied to monthly sales targets, ARO, gross profit, and retention metrics.Be hands-on with customers — walk the floor, support service writing, and build lasting relationships.Uphold a customer-centric approach by ensuring prompt & courteous service.Coach and mentor team members in real time by working alongside them, not apart from themAddress customer concerns & complaints on Yelp & Google Reviews through CDC (Complaints, Damages & Comebacks).Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, & other markets.Maintain accurate records of operations, financial transactions, & employee activities.Prepare regular reports for management regarding shop performance & key metrics.Ensure compliance with all legal & regulatory requirements.QualificationsProven experience as a General Manager or similar role in an auto mechanic shop.Efficient in Digital Visual Inspections & ProceduresExperience with Autoflow or similar platform, preferred but not requiredStrong leadership & managerial skills with the ability to motivate a team.Sound knowledge of automotive systems, repair techniques, and industry standards.Solid understanding of financial management & budgeting.Ability to multitask, prioritize, & manage time effectively.Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology or similar technical collegePhysical RequirementsOccasionally lift and/or move over 50 poundsAbility to work with tools lifted above their headWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-toolsWalk/stand for the majority of the workdayDrive manual transmission vehiclesKeeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environmentEfficiently navigate a computerCompensation$90,000 - $100,000 BaseMonthly Uncapped Bonus (annual minimum bonus $30,000)BenefitsPTO/Sick & (6) Annual Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) MatchingPaid Skills Enhancement TrainingEmployee Discount - Service & PartsEquipment/Toolbox Relocation AssistanceEmployee Referral ProgramReady to elevate your career?
