About Us:
We are a busy and growing Family Medicine practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages. Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered service.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of medical assisting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients, taking vitals, and documenting medical histories
- Assisting providers with examinations and procedures
- Administering medications and injections as directed
- Collecting and preparing lab specimens
- Managing patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Coordinating referrals and prior authorizations
- Maintaining exam room cleanliness and supply levels
- Providing patient education and support
- Other duties as assigned to support patient care and clinic operations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting (Family Medicine experience preferred)
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, infection control, and medical terminology
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Compassionate and professional bedside manner
